No Child Left Inside Host: Crystal Scheer Type: Education - Class Date: Year long Program Time: Monday Through Thursday 9am to 4pm Description Imagine a school where the students' potentials are enthusiastically permitted to explore beyond the confines of four walls. Can you see it? Your son or daughter patiently examining and sketching a barnacle and pursuing answers to all the questions that leap into his/her mind, or performing a water quality test at a local aquifer and then jumping in for a swim. Does your middle-schooler feel "cooped up?" Are you ready to unlatch the cage? The Free Range School will incorporate subjects in the realms of humanities, science and math with sense education and emotional intelligence skill building through imaginative education and experiential learning methods. Currently taking enrollment for the 2009-2010 school year ages 10-14. Tuition is bases on a sliding Scale of $480-$600 a month depending on family financial circumstances. The cost includes most field trip expenses and supplies (journals, pencils, pens, paints, clip-boards, calculators etc..) Information about the program will be available on Friday October 2nd (6-9pm) during the Downtown Gallery Walk at the Center for Expressive Arts and Experiential Education.
