June 11 to June 23rd in Bellingham, WA at Pacific Alpine Gardens (Diane Harrington)
class from 9 am to 9 pm every day
Learn to work with Nature and design sustainable systems for human settlements.
Permaculture is an interdisciplinary science that combines biology and ecology with architecture, landscape design, and organic agriculture. Students will learn how to create permaculture designs that can be applied to everything from backyards, to farms, to houses and cities. Featuring experienced Permaculture instructors such as Marisha Auerbach, Kelda Miller, Michael Pillarski, David Sansone, David Zhang, Bruce Horowitz, and many others.
Course includes lessons on soil ecology, native plants, wetland restoration, fungus propagation, land management, organic farming, rainwater harvesting, natural building, graywater systems, alternative energy, site analysis, design methodology, community planning, emergency preparedness, local economics, and more!
The cost for this course is $750 if paid in full by May 25th, which comes down to less than $60 a day. Includes delicious organic meals, beautiful places to camp, over 100 hours of education, and a Permaculture Design certificate.
