Permacuture offers practical, local solutions to a world in crisis! Learn to design an ecological system for thriving sustainability based on nature’s wisdom and zero-waste efficiency!


Class Topics include: Organic Garden Design and Techniques, Edible Landscaping, Compost Making, Plant Succession, Irrigation Systems, Sheet Mulch, Cover Cropping, And much more fun, hands-on education!


Taught by Bruce Horowitz and assisted by Brian Kerkvliet and Alexandra King Class will be held at Inspiration Farm. A 15+ year old organic homestead farm integrating creative lifestyles, animal husbandry, perennial food systems and land / water management.


Bruce Horowitz is a certified organic gardener and composter educator, holds an ecology master’s degree in sustainable community, and is a certified permaculture designer and teacher.


Alexandra is a certified permaculture designer, and Brian a eco-systems designer are co-creators at Inspiration farm with years of organic gardening in Bellingham.
