Dear Friends of the “100 Acre Wood”,
You are invited this Thursday, September 11th (from 6-7 pm) to take part in the first of a series of community gatherings to honor the “100 Acre Wood” (Please see attached poster).
We (Kelly & Burke) will be holding the form of an outdoor circle gathering entitled "For the Love of the Trees" at the Upper Fairhaven Park Pavilion. We invite you to share your words, songs, and/or poetry in order to empower our collective visions and blessings to bring about the preservation of this sacred land. We honor that this day is also a day of International Healing and Remembrance.
Our intention is to co-create a free of charge (donations accepted), lightly facilitated, supportive environment for people to creatively express themselves about preserving the “100 Acre Wood”.
We’ve shown our fire in the political arenas, now let’s share our impassioned spirit with each other, the trees themselves, and send out a clear prayer for protecting them.
We hope you will join us to celebrate our love for this enchanted special land and to meet and connect with other stewards and citizens of our shared home.
