Fair Trade Haven is organizing a fashion show on the Fairhaven Village Green, on September 27th, from 3PM to 5PM.
We will be offering refreshments (tea, coffees, lemonade, cookies and chocolates) and live music from The Naked Hearts, featuring Jan Peters, Majnoun Danduggin and Christopher Robert.
15 to 20 models (women, men and children) will present our new fall line of fairly traded clothing. We will also present the general principals of the fair trade movement and tell the stories of the different groups we work with. Beth Provo, founder of Marigold Fair Trade will talk about her experience starting a cooperative in India.
