An extra-special day to head out to Whatcom’s farmland, with seven farms offering a day packed with guided tours, mouthwatering samples, cider pressing, cheese making, animal visiting, wine tasting, and meeting some of the people and places behind the smorgasbord you’ve been enjoying all week!
THREE WAYS TO GET THERE:
1. Go by bike! Join an organized bicycle ride departing from the Bellingham Public Market, 1530 Cornwall Ave, at 9am, OR for a shorter route meet the ride at the Ferndale Farmers Market at 11am. Suggested donation $7. Sag wagon provided.
2. Go by bus! An interpretive tour of three unique Whatcom farms by Bellair Charters, guide provided, 2-6pm. Reservations required by calling (360) 380-8800. $8
3. Carpool! Use the map to find your own way to fun and festivities. Suggested donation $10/carload.
