The Green Sanctuary Team of the Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship will begin
its programming year in September. Along with numerous events throughout the
year, we will be holding a series of green conversations, open discussions
on various themes. September has been designated as our Local Foods and
Food Security month. We feel eating locally, ethically and organically is a
major priority in our combating a myriad of environmental and social justice
issues. As a part of this month¹s activities, we will be hosting a Food
Conversations event on September 15, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at 1708 I St. in the
Social Hall. We invite you to join us for a short film "The True Cost of
Food" and then to tackle questions the film raises. This event is open to
the public. Local refreshments will be served.
