“The Climate Monologues” by Sharon Abreu

This is an award-winning, one-woman show about climate change.

³The Climate Monologues² brings to life onstage the stories of real people
in the U.S. and around the world affected by climate change and people
working to solve the climate crisis. Their stories are communicated through
their own words and through original songs that complement the stories.

Some of these stories include:

Former West Virginia coal miner struggles with his granddaughter’s health
issues due to coal dust and slurry

Former rodeo cowgirl turned climate activist makes the win-win business case
for climate protection

West Virginia family farmer deals with the poisoning of her drinking water
from mountaintop removal coal mining

20-year-old college student explains why she’s excited about studying
climate change in school

Colorado mom inspires other moms to get active and promote solar energy

³The Climate Monologues² is about  Facing our fears and risingabove them and
about inspiration, courage and keeping our humanity and sense of humor in
the face of critical challenges
