SB Roving Garden Party – 5/15 – Happy Valley – 6pm

Join Sustainable Bellingham’s 4th annual Roving Garden Party series, where volunteers help their neighbors create an edible garden. These fun events consist of approximately 90 minutes of gardening, followed by a shared meal. Everyone is welcome!

** Where: 2500 Donovan St. – Just south of Happy Valley Elementary School and just east of 24th St. There is a large open field with a pond, cob-house, yurt and white picket fence – hard to miss. MAP: http://g.co/maps/7s5yg.
** When: Tuesday, May 15th, 6:00-7:30 work, 7:30 meal.
** Requested Items to Bring: Gloves.
** Tasks: Double digging.
** Food: Salmon bbq with salad and fruit.
** Host: Kenny Schaumberg, 360-441-1112 – founder of the Anything Grows Urban Homestead, an upcoming permaculture/biodynamic farm that seeks to educate the community, hold workshops, and be an example of natural building and self-sufficient agriculture for the Belllingham community.
